Working with Metro Consulting on our Director search was very beneficial.
They gave us a process and provided the structure to implement an effective
search. Metro reduced our workload by vetting candidates and providing
helpful background summaries for each. While White Rock Montessori hopes
to avoid the need for another search in the near future, the school would
benefit from Metro's services again.

After trying to conduct a Head of School search on our own for some time without success, our Board decided to enlist the help of Metro Montessori, and I’m so glad we did. At the outset of our relationship, our consultants set up time to speak to every staff person and board member to find out about our community’s culture, strengths and needs. In true Montessori tradition, they spent time observing our school’s teachers, assistants and children in action. They took the time to get to know and understand us, so they could find the best possible Head of School who would be a great fit for our community.

Our consultants guided us in setting up our Search Committee with representatives from all our stakeholders. They guided us through the interview process. Although finding a candidate with the right qualifications and spirit for our school was not easy, I knew Metro would stay with us until we found the right person. I am happy to say that our wonderful Head of School has just completed her first year with us, and she is, indeed, a wonderful fit for our school.
